Knowledge Visualization in research

I had the pleasure of giving a presentation to graduate students and professors from the SIS at McGill University on March 18 afternoon. It was also an opportunity to do so in English. I’ve been discussing knowledge visualization as a methodological approach that makes use of a combination of different techniques and technologies. It is particularly useful in information sciences for both research and practice. This seminar introduces and explains a typology based on connectivity ranging from heuristics to forecasting. It also demonstrates how the knowledge visualization can be instrumental, aesthetic and emancipating approach, using a practical example. The process of a PhD thesis is described: project management, collecting and data analysis, interpretation and writing the thesis. Alternative libre à MindManager : FreeMind

Lorsque je donne mes formations sur la schématisation heuristique, on me demande régulièrement s’il y a une solution « gratuite » à MindManager.
